Six countries compete in an international challenge organised by MMU

Multimedia University (MMU) organised an International Business Idea Challenge (IBIC), a competition that drew participants from six countries in the region, recently.

Themed “Digitalising Business in the New Norm”, IBIC was participated by 134 teams across 6 countries; Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Philippines, Bangladesh, and United Kingdom. The competition combined the International e-Business & Entrepreneurship Idea Showcase (eBES) and with the International Young Social Entrepreneurs Competition (IYSEC).

The virtual closing ceremony was officiated by Prof. Datuk Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU says “At MMU, we are fully aware that innovation is the key to true growth. This is the reason behind our organizing this IBIC, as it invites some of the best minds in the region to develop new ideas for newcomers and industry incumbents alike. To me, seeing that we succeeded in drawing a good number of teams, and having them share their novel ideas, is a very satisfactory outcome,” he added.
