The embattled PM Ismail Sabri Yaakob is getting louder and more powerful with his cutting statements slicing at opponents who wants him to listen to them and dissolve the parliament immediately.
His statement, ‘I am the PM’ comes just after the Umno leaders met to discuss two things: 1. Pressure the PM to free Najib Razak from the SRC International scandal, and 2. To press Sabri to dissolve Parliament yesterday. Nothing happened.
This led Sabri to say he is not distracted by party and politics and remains focussed on running the country. “No, I don’t. As for me, I have my own work in both party and government. Party members are free to give their opinions but that doesn’t distract me.” Slam!
