As her father was sentenced to prison just a few days ago, Yana Najib, the daughter of Najib Razak has made multiple statements on her Instagram stories on the situation. As a daughter, she is no doubt loyal to her father as any good child should.
Unfortunately for her situation, regardless of any sentencing, Najib Razak is probably the most controversial figure in Malaysian history. Her story post that was flagged mentioned a Thomas Jefferson quote “when injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty”.
The specific quote may incite violence according to Instagram. Netizens in their usual fashion had nothing nice to say about the jailbird former Prime Minister or his daughter. Many are also accusing her of not paying her income taxes, but that has not been proven to be the truth.
