A teenage girl (14) abducted a baby from a babysitter’s home in Bukit Tengah, Penang, on August 23 because the nine-month-old baby was ‘too cute’.
The baby was rescued five hours after the kidnapping says Central Seberang Prai OCPD Assistant Commissioner Tan Cheng Shan after police arrested five suspects aged between 14 and 43, in two different locations on the same day.
They were arrested in a hut in Machang Bubok and a house in Kulim, Kedah and the main suspect is the 14-year-old who is also the granddaughter of the babysitter whose boyfriend (age not given), the boyfriend’s mom and husband were also arrested.
