The tragic death of a nine-year-old girl, Olivia Pratt-Korbel, has shocked the nation and the world, with the story of her heartbreaking murder leaving the Liverpool community in shock, disbelief, and devastation. A gunman broke into the girl’s home on Monday, putting her in the crosshairs of an alleged “tit-for-tat” gang war.
Olivia Pratt-Korbel was shot and killed when a gunman forced his way into her home in Dovecot, Liverpool. The two men were walking along Kingsheath Avenue from the direction of Finch Lane – close to girl’s family home.
They were approached by a lone person who started to shoot at them. Olivia’s mother opened the front door to see what was going on when one of the people flee into her house followed by the gunman who peppered the house with gunshots, hitting both the mother and Olivia.
