Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96 at Balmoral in the U.K. and she sets a record of being the longest serving monarch in the country’s history while her son, Charles becomes the oldest person to become King in British history.
The Queen’s death marks the start of a new era while her 70 years of rule on the throne of England and the Commonwealth end with her passing.
THE Queen will be laid to rest by her beloved husband Prince Philip at the King George VI memorial chapel at Windsor Castle. Charles will be known as King Charles the third.
