The topic of child abuse is sadly common in Malaysia, it is unfortunate that children have to suffer such ordeals. Fortunately, at least, in the cities the authorities would do their given job well and would respond to any reports towards child abuse.
According to the local news, an 8 year old boy tried to escape from an apartment by jumping out the window. The fire department was then called to rescue the child. They had to take him down from the fourth floor of the apartment complex.
The sad story is that the children’s father passed away 2 years ago and that the child was locked in a room for an undisclosed amount of time. The authorities found bruises all over the children’s limbs and their uncle and aunt were arrested.
