Recently, a woman was barred from leaving Malaysia for not paying RM75 to LHDN, our country’s income tax division. The irony is, according to a netizen on Twitter, Najib and his son owe RM1.7 trillion and are free to travel anywhere they’d like.
Further questions came in when normal citizens are treated badly to the full extent allowed by the law, regardless if it’s a small amount. “Why were their bank accounts not fully monitored by the authorities?” said a netizen.
The political parties in Malaysia would need to think of a careful strategy on winning the next election. Cybertroopers would not be counted as extra votes and problems like these will deter votes from certain political parties.
