There was an article written about AliBaba’s investment in Lazada and it claimed that money cannot buy success. Regardless of the situation, Lazada is still losing its market share to Shopee. This is despite the massive marketing campaigns Lazada is currently pushing.
The article then stated that Shopee has no outer resources and were not the first to enter the e-commerce scene in Malaysia. Even on social media sites like TikTok and Twitter, netizens would constantly talk about their new Shopee purchases and hauls.
Netizens commented that the article was sponsored by Shopee as it was criticising Lazada and AliBaba. Each of the e-commerce platforms has something different to offer to their customers as no two are exactly alike.
