After a few months’ ban, now Chicken farmers are eager to restart their export business via Singapore, a major market for them that brings in more benefits. The ban is to be lifted in October, but some breeders who have applied for permits since early September are unsure when they will get approval says a Singapore news site.
They say it takes less than a day to apply for the permits but approval is taking forever and they do not understand why.
The government announced in August that certain farms would be allowed to resume exports in October by getting permission from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries.
