Malaysian General Election Possibly During November Flood Period?

1 min read

Allegedly, there have been talks for the current government announcing the long awaited democratic voting period for this country’s future. Dr Rais Hussin has posted on Twitter a possible timeline for UMNO to announce and plan the upcoming general election.

However, netizens do believe that our current Prime Minister, Ismail Sabri is a sensible and responsible PM and would not do such a catastrophic thing to his citizens. Any politician who even considers having the elections are inhumane said a netizen.

It’s not the rakyat’s fault that poor infrastructure that was built or approved by the government can’t withstand the harsh monsoon seasons that our country suffers from regularly. Most would agree that the general elections should be held during a more suitable season.
