PM Ismail Sabri Yaakob, while saying he is not against holding the next general elections as soon as possible, adds that he never set any conditions with Umno on who will be PM after the polls.

Rumours are that Sabri has made a deal with Umno that he should be nominated PM after an Umno win in the next PRU but he strongly denied such claims.

Previously, Sabri had said he would want to see the economy getting better before holding the polls but yesterday he aligned himself with the other Umno leaders saying it is okay to hold the elections before the end of the year.
