Grab is trialling the “Quiet Ride” option for passengers in Malaysia and passengers who prefer a journey free of small talk and human-to-human interaction can do so by responding “Quiet Ride” to an automated message in GrabChat after securing the Grab booking.

Drivers will be informed of their preferences and will be asked to refrain from unnecessary conversation with the passenger during the ride.

But the new feature will be tested in select locations beginning October 7 while Grab has confirmed that “Quiet Ride” is currently being tested in Malaysia.
