The media world in Malaysia is living in a desperate moment with the rushed speech of Minister of Finance Tengku Zafrul being called a ‘bullet train speech’ by media practitioners.
Some are saying they miss the days when the Budget speech is ‘leaked’ to the media or the time it was sent to media but embargoed, which is not happening this time around.
Nevertheless, those typing the speech being read by the minister are asking for ‘subsidies’ for their swollen fingers while others are complaining they can’t catch up with the bullet train.
