An unfortunate event happened in Thailand yesterday where an ex-police man barged through a pre-school and started shooting at children. The victims are as young as two years old. According to AJ News, the gunman also stabbed the children and a pregnant teacher.
Reportedly, he also shot his wife, son and himself. He was recently relieved of his policing duties due to some drug charges and was in court during the day of the shooting. Mass shootings are rare in Thailand and the rest of Southeast Asia.
23 children died and reportedly was the third mass shooting done by an ex-policeman or ex-military personnel. Netizens shared their grief towards the victims and their families and many asked what were his motives for shooting innocent children.
