Ever heard of Black Lives Matter (BLM)? Recently, Kanye West made the slogan “White Lives Matter” a trending topic on social media after repeatedly wearing a shirt with those words printed on it.
It is alleged that BLM was allegedly involved in some levels of corruption, where the co-founder bought a luxurious home in a predominantly white neighbourhood. Americans who are of foreign ethnicity have recently come out with the same hashtag claiming that White Americans helped them acclimate to the United States.
The racial divide in the United States is sadly big, especially on social media. There were some that stated before racial integration, there was “Jim Crow” where non-Whites were not allowed to use the same facilities as White people.
