Unlike some Prime Ministers, Liz Truss has decided with full grace and dignity to resign from her position. According to the BBC, she mentioned that the Conservative party will announce a new leader within the week.
There was a challenge of a lettuce decomposing slower than her reign, and it appears that the lettuce has won. British citizens were happy at the sound of her resignation, she was not a popular candidate to be Prime Minister to begin with.
