One of the weirdest loopholes Whatsapp had was that when you sent an expiring photo, you could actually screenshot the image. This is bad especially when you are sharing something personal or private that you don’t personally want leaked.
According to the original poster, even screen recordings are blocked. The only way you would want to capture a one time view photo is through another device taking a photo of your initial devices’ screen.
Others that use Whatsapp for Android complained that even deleted statuses can still also be seen by everyone. Some are even saying that the images might be able to be screenshotted via Whatsapp web.
