Outgoing PM Ismail Sabri Yaakob has refused a debate with opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim saying there was no need for such a debate because it was not in ‘Malaysians’ culture.
However, refusing and running away from the debate will not help Mr Sabri who will have to answer all the accusations the opposition will throw at him during the electoral campaign.
Will he do the usual, that is say ‘I don’t know’?
Nevertheless, Anwar wanted a debate to help the voters decide who is better placed to be the future PM of the country.
