The trend of “flexing” one’s wealth for the views has gone a notch too high in the Congo nations. The Congo Dandies are seemingly average men with good taste in fashion who would wear luxury brands with the likes of Gucci and Dior.
Most of them would spend their whole lives being a LaSape, which roughly means a well dressed gentleman. It was said that the main reason why they dress as such is to lighten up the other people that are having a hard life in the country.
It is rather interesting to see such a phenomenon happening in these parts of the world. For the most part of the developed world, many would prefer to put on their LuluLemon tights and call it a day.
