At least this is what some women are claiming, that is they were forced to undergo a vaginal examination before flying from Doha to their destinations. Women from some 10 other flights were also allegedly subjected to the same.
At least four women were locked in an ambulance with a masked woman who then conducted non-consensual vaginal examination on each of them. One of them was forced to leave her five-month-old baby on the plane.
The fifth woman was 73 years old and legally blind at the time of the incident so she was not subjected to the vaginal examination.
Perhaps they were trying to look for hidden treasures inside the women’s wombs? Nevertheless, the women, 13 in total, are suing the airline after negotiating for two years on a settlement. The airline has apologised since then.
