This election will see a larger number of young voters and already they are pressing for new faces. Some parties are trying to put up with the need for younger candidates, but experience and loyalty to the party is also very important in making the choice for candidates.
While the Opposition PKR has already announced its list of candidates – 72 candidates – for the Parliamentary seats in semenanjung, other parties are still strategising on how to counter the PKR now.
Nevertheless, for the young voters, some 1.4 million new voters of 18 or so, it will be a difficult decision to make in their choice of old faces but one thing should make it easier for them: The young voters do not want ‘katak’ and they do not want corrupt leaders. Let us see!
