1 min read

In the recent wake of the car break-in incidents in KLCC, there is a newer incident happening in the KL Sentral area. The attacks are described as “pukau” and these scammers are predominantly targeting office workers wearing lanyards.

Apparently, according to the netizen, these scammers are especially active during the end of the month as it is pay-day for many. Furthermore it is mentioned that they are non Malaysians that are targeting people in this scam.

The netizen claimed to be harassed by one of these people, and they have been following him around for 10 minutes. The mode of operation for these people is disguising themselves by asking you for directions, while in the end they would ask you for money.
