The United States is a weird place. They preach for freedom yet at the same time have extremely expensive healthcare. Their healthcare is one of the most expensive in the world. So expensive that they would even charge you for crying in the hospital.
A Youtube video discussed the whole ordeal where a relation to a TikToker found out she was dying, and she teared up. That tearing up alone cost $40 and was charged under “brief emotional/behavioural assessment.”
Mind you that is almost RM200. The best part? The doctors did not even calm her down, they just kept silent as she cried. A single pregnancy test can also cost $1,900 (RM9,000). Who knows, you might get charged for breathing in an American hospital soon.
