Luxury brands like Christian Dior and Gucci would always have this allure of being welcoming and friendly to their potential customers. Unfortunately for Louis Vuittion they have a reputation of not being too friendly to their customers.
During the 2022 Paris Fashion week, there was footage taken of a Louis Vuitton guard slapping a child. The footage then went viral, of course with netizens being angry at the stuffy stiff French luxury house.
Ironically, the move that damaged their reputation even further was that they threatened to sue the person who filmed the incident. It is unclear why didn’t the luxury house would just release an apology and move on from the whole ordeal.
