Pakatan Harapan in Johor believes the Electoral Commission should set up a voting centre in Singapore for the upcoming PRU15 says a local news outlet, adding that it would ease the voting process for Malaysians in the city-state.
While it would be a relief on the heavy traffic entering Malaysia from Singapore and a voting centre in Singapore may reduce the expected influx of Malaysians into the country for the PRU15, it would also make it easier for Malaysians to vote.
There are close to 200,000 eligible Malaysian voters living or working in Singapore, PH said in a statement and it wants to capture this voter base.
