The Malaysian Road Transport Department has agreed to designate 20 car lanes at the Johor-Singapore border for Malaysians returning from Singapore to vote, according to local news.
The voter-designated Lanes will be open to Malaysian-registered vehicles from noon on November 18 until noon the following day, according to the report.

Onn Hafiz Ghazi, an Umno politician and Johor’s Menteri Besar, previously denied rumours that Malaysians in Singapore were being discouraged from returning home to vote.
