Balenciaga has released their second half of their Adidas collaboration and it is filled with a lot of forced mashups of the two very different brands. Imagine a luxurious handbag and then having Adidas stripes all over it.
Their prices are quite high especially when a number of these products can still be bought at Adidas for a much lower price. Balenciaga made distressed “Stan Smith” shoes, an Adidas classic.
They retail for RM3,450 for the Balenciaga version and RM449 for the same Adidas version. Adidas is good when it comes to collaborating with luxury brands as they successfully collaborated with Prada and has a collaboration ongoing with Gucci at the same time.
