Over 10,000 people from all walks of life attended Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, chairman of Pakatan Harapan (PH) and the coalition’s candidate for prime minister, during his final campaign speech for his attempt to retake Putrajaya on the rainy eve of the 15th general election (GE15).
“Once again we have a chance for change, a chance to overhaul the system, this
corrupt system,” he says in Malay, as the crowd chants “Re-for-masi”.
Brave The Rain
Thousand more watched on live video streaming, reminiscent of the massive support the PH gained in 2018 when it toppled the regime of ex-PM Najib Razak.
In Tambun, like elsewhere, the crowd came to brave the rain and show that they are ready for change and today they will go to the ballot boxes to cast their votes!
