As if the inflation is not bad enough and the high prices of goods in Semenanjung Malaysia are not going out of control enough, now we have to put up with the monsoon that has hit Cameron Highlands and caused the prices of vegetable to soar.

This is one of the issues that the new government will have to tackle along with the bigger mission of controlling the rising inflation and the cost it has on the standard of living of both the B40 and M40.

Back to Cameron Highlands, depending on the types of vegetables, the price increase is easily between 30 per cent and 50 per cent and vegetables expected to see a price hike include tomatoes, cucumbers, chillies, beans, capsicum and selected leafy vegetables.
