It was reported that the Malaysian police successfully confiscated a large amount of “syabu” whereas in English it’s called methamphetamine. It was stated that the mules were husband and wife driving a lorry, and they tested negative for any illegal substances.
Netizens salute the Malaysian police
The amount of drugs are worth RM9.5 million and they weigh 264 Kg. It seems that the transporters are the ones that will suffer trial and punishment. However, netizens are asking the police to also probe into the originator of these drugs, as in, who is actually producing and selling them?
Netizens further stated that it is the small fries that get caught in situations like this, not the big shots. If the small fries keep getting eliminated, the bosses will still proceed on selling the drugs but they’d just hire someone else to do the dirty work.
Others are criticising that people today are just looking for a get rich quick scheme type of income, hence the drug related business. There were replies on this stating that children are getting assaulted, women are getting beaten when drugs are involved, and these replies congratulated the police force for doing a good job.
