A Facebook account has revealed some people have spent around RM122 million on the video platform TikTok and this is not a small amount of money spent during the elections

The money, the Facebook account says, was used to pay influencers, and video makers but did not reveal who paid the money, though, in a reply to a user, the original poster says the information is obtained from a source in the previous Prime Minister’s office.

RM122 million

According to the note on Facebook, which is getting much traction on some Twitter accounts, an influencer could be paid RM100,000 for a video if they have 1 million followers.

“RM122 juta total depa belanja di TikTok. Followers 1 juta ke atas dibayar RM100k. Influencer biasa dibayar. RM300 per video. Gilos,” says the post.
