Most companies, whether it be a luxury European brand, or a local Malaysian brand, both are increasing their prices to most likely cover their losses during Covid. Price increases are happening globally. However, this Malaysian netizen is not happy with Secret Recipe’s price increasing.
Secret Recipe’s price rise
The netizen then stated that Secret Recipe has always had the support of the “B40” group, and that the “T20” group would not bat two eyelids to the cafe/restaurant. The netizen then went on stating to not hate the company, but they were just providing critical opinions to their favourite shop.
There were others that suggested Bakers Cottage as a suitable alternative. Another netizen remembered when a slice of their cakes used to cost RM5.90 and now it’s way too expensive. There were also complaints of prices increasing yet the portion is significantly decreasing.
