Even though the unity government was formed approximately a month ago, the images that we’re seeing today in the Malaysian Parliament of Zahid Hamidi and Anwar Ibrahim together is still something fresh. 10 years ago we would’ve never thought of sitting next to each other in the parliament.

Another netizen observed that DAP and GRS Ministers were sitting next to each other, side by side. That was also considered as unthinkable in the past. However, many stated that if our Prime Minister was still in UMNO, this would’ve been a reality much sooner.
Another netizen claimed that this was actually in the works in the 1990s where Anwar Ibrahim and Zahid Hamidi would’ve been in a similar situation if the whole scandal that was brought upon our Prime Minister never happened. Others claimed that we are currently living in an alternate timeline.
