MB Terengganu Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar is in New Zealand while storms and floods lash the state and displace over 70,000 people and some have blamed the people of Terengganu and Kelantan, saying that they ‘deserve it’ for voting for Malay nationalist and Islamist faction PN.

Every monsoon season, deadly floods sweep through Malaysia, but as the country laments the deaths from a recent landslide and rural flooding Terengganu, with more than 40,000 victims relocated across about 300 relief centres, is the worst-hit state.
MB Terengganu missing in action?
Since December 11, Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar and his wife have been in Auckland, New Zealand, and they won’t be coming back until Thursday. Despite the Malaysian meteorological department’s early December 9 warning of severe weather and flooding, they left for unknown reasons.
