Malindo Flight 8 Hours Delayed, Passengers Angry

Usually it would be AirAsia that performs badly, especially when it comes to flight delays. However, right before the new years, it appears that Malindo has taken the cake on flight delays. 8 hours delayed, and for obvious reasons, passengers are angry.

Flight delayed 8 hours , supposedly to catch on flight at 2335 hrs @22/12/2022 , but delayed until 0740hrs @ 23/12/2022 without any announcement given to all the passengers:( #malindoair #batikair

A TikTok video showed passengers screaming at a desk agent regarding their flight’s long delay. The manager is nowhere to be seen, and the airline appears to not bother about their passengers’ well-being, stated the angry customer.

The TikTok video has received over 140,000 likes. It is unclear if Malindo has made any statements regarding this issue. Netizens are angry at the airline as if passengers were just a few minutes late, the aircraft would not wait for them at all. 

Others were sympathising with the gate attendants as this issue is also out of reach for them. Many were blaming the airline’s management for letting their staff endure the customer’s anger.
