Football legend and the only player who won three World Cups in history, Pele is in not in good shape and has his family around him at his bedside at the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo. Pele is regarded as one of the greatest players to ever play the game the greatest for us. With Pele family around him, many fear the worst.
This week, medical professionals reported that Pele’s cancer had progressed and that he needed treatment for renal and cardiac dysfunction. His family reported that he would spend Christmas in a hospital in Sao Paulo.

Pele’s son Edinho posted a picture of himself holding his father’s hand to Instagram on Saturday, with the caption “Father… my strength is yours.”
Since having a colon tumour removed in September of last year, Pele has undergone routine medical care.
