F&B Workers In Selangor Must Wear Masks

Even after the pandemic has cooled itself down, restrictions have been lifted, the F&B workers are still required to wear masks. According to FMT, they are required to do so by January in order for their licence to be renewed.

This law was passed in order to maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for restaurants in Malaysia. Furthermore, this may curb any potential sticky viruses such as the Covid-19 from spreading even further. 

Netizens are insisting that the government enforces this rule, rather than just passing a new bill in Parliament that won’t be enforced. Others are suggesting to implement glove use as well in order for less germs and bacteria transfer to happen.
