PKR man Farhash joins 7 Eleven as its new chairman and this got Twitter users to question what is really going on here, that is after the fight against cronyism, not this?

7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings has named the former political secretary to PM Anwar Ibrahim, Farhash Wafa Salvador, as its new chairman, replacing Robin Tan, who resigned to pursue other interests. The change is effective immediately.

The convenience store chain operator said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that Farhash brings with him more than a decade’s worth of experience in the field of business, consultancy and advisory.”

While some netizens are querying how did this happen, others are saying this could be the route to take for politically-linked individuals who can no more be appointed at GLCs and other government linked co’s in Malaysia.
