Reports on Twitter suggest that a Hospital in Terengganu made it a must for the staff to join in a so-called annual dinner but the catch is the staffs has to fork out the cash to pay for the dinner.
And it is not cheap, if we believe the report, because the staffs are asked to pay RM80 per person for the dinner.
The notice from the management to the staffers say, “Dinner with the Director Nursing Unit level will be held on 27 Jan 2023 located at ….., Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu at 8pm.” We are told it is practice in some institutions, worldwide, for staffs to pay for annual dinners or reunions. (Sic).
