The Indonesian government has issued a warning over a popular liquid nitrogen-infused snack known as “dragon’s breath” after reports of several children being hurt after consuming it. The snack, which has become popular on social media platforms like TikTok, is a type of colorful candy that is coated in liquid nitrogen mist.

The Health Ministry has warned that the consumption of the snack over an extended period of time may lead to serious health issues including stomach burns, inflammation, cold burns, and damage to internal organs.
It also warned that inhaling the fumes for a prolonged period of time may lead to severe breathing difficulties.
