After the whole controversy of Touch N Go announcing their new debit cards that are not compatible with current Touch N Go infrastructure, the government is taking the matter seriously.
Touch N Go questioned by the government
According to BFM, the government requested Touch N Go to change the card’s name, notifying users their expiry dates, and that they have to add more sales centres selling their cards other than just KL Sentral and Bangsar.
Netizens still had a bone to pick with the company as the government did initiate with all these demands, but the main concern towards their monopoly is still unanswered. Remarks of their services being one of the worst available is also quite relevant among netizens.
