Our former Prime Minister has stated that he disagreed with the recent arrangement that our current Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim has in place with Nurul Izzah. He then claims that never in Malaysian history where we had a Prime Minister electing their own children as an advisor.

However, netizens vehemently disagree with Muhyiddin Yassin. They claim to not support nepotism, but insist that he looks at his own reflection as he is considered as one of the worst Prime Ministers in Malaysian history.
Netizens are also calling out our former Prime Minister for hiring a large number of advisors costing the country millions of Ringgit a year. On the other hand, Nurul Izzah is not even getting paid for her current role.
The Sheraton move was brought up again by netizens. He was not even elected to become the country’s Prime Minister through a democratic election process, and yet managed to still become one. Others stated that Nurul Izzah is one of the very few children of a Prime Minister that has cabinet experience, many do not have that.
