The woman had earlier said to a local news site she was prevented from entering Kajang police headquarters to file a report about a traffic accident due to her wearing shorts, though she insists her shorts covered her knees.
The police district chief in Kajang says the sentry personnel instructed her to change into more suitable pants, and the woman drove off before returning in pants, which is according to regulations. She also claimed she asked for the badge number of the personnel but was refused, and that she was not denied entry at the Batu Sembilan station despite wearing the same attire.
