We are not overlooking the fact that PN campaigned during the last election that it is clean, PN Bersih, PN Best while it riled against its opponents, particularly Umno, saying it is dirty and corrupt and Najib Razak is a ‘penyamun’.
Now that its accounts are frozen amid allegations that it received Rm300 million from 10 contractors, which is a whopping amount of money for a political party, this has damaged the image of PN leaders as Mr Clean among the youth.
This time around we are near the state polls in the six states that did not hold elections in Nov last year. PN has probably lost the edge in claiming it is cleaner than Umno.
