Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim wishes all Hindus and communities in this country a happy Thaipusam festival.
Anwar said the celebration and diverse culture in Malaysia is a powerful argument for Malaysians to get to know each other and build understanding of the pluralistic national order.
“Let us together strengthen unity and harmony for the sake of our beloved nation,” he said through a post on his Facebook today. However, he is reported sick and will not attend the Thaipusam celebration at Batu Caves, Astro Awani says.
