Recently, the government has announced their master plan in working together with e-hailing platforms in order to provide better fares and wait times for their customers going to MRT and LRT stations. This is an effort to help those that rely on Grab as public transportation.
Improve public transportation
A netizen stated that e-hailing services are expensive to the rakyat’s wallets. They suggested that the government actually invest in feeder buses instead of working together with for profit industries.
There are suggestions on creating larger taxis, which are quintessentially school vans in Rapid KL branding. Complaints that more remote areas in the Klang Valley have little to no access to trains and it could prove to be difficult to those that cannot drive.
