The rising inflation all over the world has led to the prices of general goods to skyrocket. Malaysia is not exempted by this. The government has initiated Rahmah, a new affordable food program that could curb the rising cost of inflation, and it appears that Mydin is one of their affiliates.

The Rahmah program is offered at Mydin’s USJ branch, where for just RM5, you can indulge in a delicious full fish, as pictured. Netizens are still criticising the Rahmah program as they claim some meals should cost as low as RM2.50 as there are people working below the minimum wage.

Others are waiting for big branch stores like KFC and McDonalds to offer their own menu Rahmah. Another netizen posted a photo of the Melaka Mydin showing that they too have the Rahmah menu and are even giving out a bottle of mineral water in addition to the food.
