Racial Composition in Public Service Not A PH Agenda

PKR Jason Ong Khan Lee, a Kebun Bunga State Assembly Member, stated that the racial composition of the public service has never been a priority for the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. 90% of civil servants in Malaysia are Bumiputera and it should not be a concern as they are the majority population.

Ramasamy’s comment on the domination of the public service by Malays goes against PH’s vision. The coalition’s focus is on addressing issues such as the high cost of living and unemployment, not raising racial issues.

PM Anwar Ibrahim has also reminded that the dominance of Malays in the public service is not an issue.
