The chairman of Cuepacs, Datuk Adnan Mat, has responded to criticisms made by DAP’s Prof Ramasamy Palanisamy about the Malay dominance in the civil service.
Adnan stated that public service sector recruitment is done based on merit and competence set by the Public Service Commission (PSC) and accused the DAP prof of attempting to politicize the public service sector.
Ramasamy Tackled
Meanwhile, Deputy PM Ahmad Zahid Hamidi called the Penang deputy CM 2 a “loose cannon” and stated that his views on the matter should be ignored. Anwar Ibrahim also spoke out against Ramasamy’s call for reforms, saying it was a personal opinion and not representative of the coalition or administration and the PH gov’t rejects the recommendations made by the DAP man.
